Used it and was solid. Compared to $120 sold in stores, this was a way better deal. Wine cooler is just a simple metal container and in my opinion is not really needed. You could go with Oster 4207 for 17.99 only to save some money. But the wine opener itself works perfectly assuming you only drill 1-2 times into the cork then pull it out. If you drill 3+ times repeatedly into the cork, then the cork will break as you try to pull it out; at this point, you risk of having small wood pieces falling into your wine...just drill once in, pull it out, and release the cork.Customer Review: Get Uncorked!

This removes any and all hassles about opening wine. Well-made and attractive on the counter. Simply hold the bottle firmly, position the opener after cutting the foil with the provided foil cutter, and press a button. After removal reversing the button pops the cork out into your hand.
Have given this as Christmas presents and it never fails to inspire the recipient on to a better appreciation of the wine experience. In other words, they get hooked on opening bottles of wine - an open bottle is an empty bottle!

Recently I made my visit to a local wine store to purchase some wine. Then I saw this set also sells inside the store - except this set was separated into two boxes, one for the wine opener, one for the wine chiller. The price for each item sells for a price together on Amazon. On Amazon, you get both tools for a price of one - The beauty of internet! It turned out I came home and purchased two of them - one for myself, one for my friend's birthday. This is my third purchase of this device (We do go through a lot of wine in California) and I continue to be impressed with how well it works and how seldom do I have a problem with it. I took a chance on this wine bottle opener because of the reviews...and I'm glad I did....I ordered 4 of them,one for me and the remaining 3 for gifts..I couldn't wait to see how well it worked,and I was glad to see it was easy and actually worked like it promised..I think I'm going to order a few more for Xmas gifts.I've seen them selling for a lot more than Amazon's price..The added wine bucket is a bonus,but,the opener is worth the price by itself..
