This blender is amazing! It works so well. Crushing frozen berries is absolutely no problem for this machine. With our old blender it was obviously working really hard when we put frozen stuff in it, but with this one you don't even realize that there is anything frozen in it. It just blends so smoothly and effortlessly. It also looks really nice, and I really prefer the glass pitcher to the plastic ones. It is really loud though, but considering how well it works I think it's worth it. Definitely worth every penny spent, and i would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a good blender.Customer Review: Simple but effective

This blender is relatively simple with only 2 speeds (steady-on and pulse). This means that in terms of "functionality", it does not have as many bells and whistles as most blenders out there. However, in the majority of cases, the 2 speeds that are available will be all you need.
The great thing about this blender is that it is highly durable and easy to clean. It blends dressings, crushes ice, and chops food with ease.
It also is extremely attractive to look at and have had many guests comment on it. I highly recommend this to everyone looking for a blender.

I love Amazon, and I love this blender from oster....it's classic looking and works well....I've been overloading it with frozen strawberries and ice for two years w/out a hiccup...but yesterday, the part sheared off that holds the glass container!
No problem-o....Amazon sells the part for 4 bucks and all you have to do is unscrew the bottom, take the motor out and replace the part! You essentially and hopefully have a new blender.
I'll let you know how it works out for me....a grannie....but considering what others have said, it's an easy thing to do and works!

I purchased this blender after reading positive reviews along with replacing the Cusinart Smart Power 7 speed blender I have that is not working effectively.
What I like about this product is it gets the job done. So far I have used it to prepare smoothies and margaritas. The more ice you use it gives you that slushy texture that I did not get with other blenders I have purchased.
The blade is razor sharp in addition to just one speed and pulse. The one I purchased is 600 watts which is adequate for what I need.
Overall it was a good purchase at a reasonable price.

Not only does this sick little mama blend beehives really well, she is also fair game for wasp's nests, and probably other insect nests. I find that blended beehive has an ambrosial pleasantness, and serves as a sort of poor man's botox if ingested (or injected) regularly. Add a bit of milk, and you get a really creamy blend that drinks smoothly. The wasp's nest is a bit more tart, but can be tamed with appropriate spicing. The Christmas season inspired me to experiment upon the latter nest with some eggnog, and its flavouring blended serendipitously well.
