I bought this for my son after hearing that his hard plastic school chairs are so uncomfortable that the homeroom kids fight EVERY DAY for just one chair that is cushioned. I saw that chair on open house night and it was old and the cushion wasn't even very soft. That's just sad. Two other people had brought various orthopedic seat cushions to use, so I started looking for one. I couldn't believe some of the stratospheric prices out there. While I want my child to have a healthy back, we are not rich enough to blow $60 to $80 on a seat cushion. After EXTENSIVE research, I felt that this one would be the best bang for the buck. Is it? Well, my son is quite happy with it, says it makes all the difference in the world. Around $19 all inclusive for years of comfort and saving his young back? I say it's well worth it. The handle is especially useful and he was able to write his name on it using a silver sharpie.Customer Review: super cheap but worth a try

there are several other models out there that are more expensive. i havent tried them, but i assume they are better quality. this isnt firm...you sit in it and it sinks quite a bit. but i really have enjoyed it. just trying it helped me realize that i will spend the money for a better quality one down the line. great for people who suffer from low back pain. sitting used to really hurt my butt bone and low back. i have disc degeneration, bulging disc and scoliosis. this time last year i couldnt walk due to back pain. exercise, sitting on this cushion and the Relax-o-back (another great product) in my car have all helped me in a quick recovery. thanks!Customer Review: Great for your desk chair!

As Seen On TV HBSETSOL-6 Seat Solution This has really helped my lower back pain from sitting at a desk for 10+ hours per day. It also takes the pressure off of the tailbone that can really get bad. Although I have to concentrate on sitting on it correctly sometimes it has really made a difference. Now I wish they would come up with something for the neck pain from full time computer work!Customer Review: Comfortable but not as good as a real chair

I got this device to place over the wooden chair I go at my dorm, and while it is comfortable, it is not that thick (but not thin) and definitely does not replace a normal padded chair.
And if you shift in your seat while you move, the cushion may move too; the side that is against the chair is designed to have more friction than the other side, but doesn't grip the chair very well (this is on a wooden laminated chair)
Besides that, it is a nice chair cushion

The material in this pad is far too light for people that weigh over 180lbs to get any decent effect out of it. However, I use it now as a lumber support and it works beautifully. Just put the wedge side facing down in your chair and voila, you have a great back support for chairs that are lacking in the lumbar area. Touché Seat Solution, touché.
