I am a loyal costumer of the Swivel Sweeper, so when I was having issues with my battery not recharging for longer than 5 minutes I accidentally found this replacement. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I've just learned that I can't leave the battery continuously charging. I only charge it when completely dead and only then do I only charge it for no more than 8 hours. I was afraid my Swivel Sweeper was obsolete as I have had it for a few years now. It needed a new battery. A friend of mine told me to look on Amazon.com.. Low and behold I found the battery I needed. It holds a charge even better than the original that came with the sweeper. Thank you Amazon I am back in business

I love my Swivel Sweeper! When the battery started to go, after several years, I was very disappointed. Immediately, I was on the search for a new battery. Like always I found it on Amazon.com for a great price and fast shipping. With the new battery my Swivel Sweeper gets the job done quickly and has a lot more power, than before. I bought this replacement battery for my mom for Christmas. I myself had this swivel sweeper vacuum a few years ago. I ended up throwing it away because it had no battery life at all. She has less hard floor surface than I do so she doesn't mind hers. Her battery also wore out so I got her a new one. She says the vacuum is like brand new now.
She loves her gift.

This was just what my swivel sweeper needed! I didn't need to charge for as long as it suggested (12 hours)...in fact, when I did, it didn't work. I charged it for about an hour and it's been working ever since. I can't explain that, but will now use it (as instructed) until the battery runs out, then will charge it again (most likely, for less than 12 hours).
