I purchased this trivet a while ago. it is a beautiful buy.
I use it to save my tables from the scorching hot pan, i put it in my pot to cook roasts and chicken with only an inch or two of water needed it keeps my meat very moist while keeping it from sticking to the bottom. I also use it to rest my teapot(hot)on while im drinking my tea with friends.
The design is a beautiful woven pattern. I was afraid the pattern would make the surface uneaven for the pot to sit on but it was surprisingly very flat.
the little feet are the best it holds the pot away from the counter at the perfect height. and it fits in my pan like a charm to help cook my roast without it sticking to the bottom.
I have no complaints about this I season it along with my cast iron and it has survived very well
