Can I just say how much I ADORE this chair? It was a birthday gift this year and, other than jewelry and a car, I can't imagine any other gift that would give me so much and such long-lasting enjoyment.
The chair my office provided was completely inadequate as it had no armrests and the back rest did not stay in the position I wanted it to. I work in patient safety/quality services in a Honolulu hospital and a lot of my work requires long hours working with data or producing reports, so I spend a lot of time at my desk. With my old chair, it was guaranteed that if I were to be doing data entry for more than a couple of hours in a day, I would be giving myself shoulder strain and pain. Most times, this pain would then go down to my fingertips, making them numb. On top of that, the pain would keep me up at night for several days and also affect me when I ran on the treadmill. The only thing to relieve it would be to get a professional massage.
Not any more! This chair is great. It fits my 4'11" frame exceedingly well. At the same time, it's comfortable for someone a foot taller and many pounds heavier than I, since the width of the arms, height of the seat and headrest, as well as the tilt are all adjustable. Everyone at my office is jealous of my chair (including my VP boss). I love it so much that if I have a casual meeting in one of my coworker's office, I will wheel it in there (assuming there is enough space). If I could, I honestly would wheel it to my other meetings elsewhere on the hospital campus (the only reason I can't is because my building has steps and no ramp)! This chair will follow me everytime I switch jobs--and I am confident it will last me for at least a decade.
