I gave this set to my mother who is 92 and visually impaired, but still likes to cook, off and on. I thought the larger, softer handles, as well, as the contours would be more comfortable. Black is always a good "color" to spot, too.
Since it's a recent gift, I have not heard her feedback on their use. She was impressed with the assortment of cooking tools and really liked the magnetic clips that came in the package. I wanted to put the most-used items in a holder on her kitchen cabinet and clean out her ancient worn utensils from the drawer to store the rest. Will see how all this works our.
