I purchased this for my husband who isn't the worlds greatest cook, but enjoys new cooking methods. It's best to have some Tagine recipes on hand since the ones that come with the cooker are inadequate. Because it's silicone it is flimsy when full, so take great care when handling after filling and removing from the oven. I placed ours inside a square cake pan. A great gift for the cook who has everything or "knows it all."
