When my granddaughter asked for some really good oven mitts for Christmas, I bought her these. I have had a pair for a couple of years and they are the best. I am able to handle the hottest of pans with them--even iron skillets out of the oven. They wash up in the dishwasher. My hands never get burned with these and my granddaughter loves them, too.
