When we purchased this Cotton Candy machine, we had a doubt when it came to the capability of the product; was it good enough or should we purchase the real professional ones. Due to the price and the overall appearance we chose to buy the Nostalgia instead of the Gold Medal, which was way more expensive and you didn't even get the cart. I must say that the machine has not failed. It is a success, especially if you only need it for small occasions like Birthdays etc. It produces good size Cotton Candy quick. Only thing is that is looses a lot of sugar, while spinning. I don't know if this is normal, for all cotton candy machines, but the sugar that is not heated builds up on the inside of the bowl. After using the machine for 10-20 Cotton Candy you need to wash it, otherwise the cotton candy will stick to this sugar buildup. Like other reviews we have read, we also smoked up the house the first time. This is due to some of the cotton candy going back to the heater. But it is something I think you would have to live with, because of the relatively small, but good size bowl. Now we only use the machine outside. It was a good purchase especially if you take the price into consideration. The cart and machine has a good size, and is an eye catcher at every party.Customer Review: taste great!

I Received my machine today which took only 3 days to ship. The machine came packed well but 2 spokes on the wheel were broken. The directions to put machine together were awful. Once the machine was put together, it was simply to use. In seconds cotton candy was coming out. It does waste a lot of the floss sugar which I purchased seperately with the cones(None came with the machine)It tasted great,but made small cones.This machine is great If you just want this for your family. If you are looking to use for making money, you will be very unhappy. Clean up was super simple. very bad instructions for putting it together. can not run machine for very long smokes badly.bowl is to small to make a full size cotton candy cone. spinner head doesn't hold much floss have to keep filling it often.can't adjust heat waste as much floss as it makes. does make small amount of cotton candy quickly. Not a large commerical machine as advertised
