Customer Review: Outstanding Floor Lamp

This lamp is perfect for my room. Its both beautiful and functional. The switch controls a 3 way and the reading lamp with 4 different clicks in different combinations. The bulb that comes with it for the reading lamp is very strong and I am enjoying that. The top part lights up the whole room without blinding you and the TV doesn't have a glare on it. The packaging was really good and nothing was chipped because of all the insulation. A truck would have to run over it to break anything. The base is very heavy and I don't see my grandson nor my inside pet knocking it over. I almost passed this by when I read other comments but then I noticed the dates on them. The company must have listened because it has all the features that weren't there a year ago. This was exactly what I wanted and I have been looking for some time for a functional reading/ floor lamp for my den, classy and would go with the decor. Works great and wouldn't change a thing, even the placement of the switch which I think is a safety feature where it is located and will last longer than something located in any other location. Ease of putting it together was another plus. Didn't need to read the instructions until I installed the shades which is a must read just so it is easier on your fingers. They even thought that one over and included a great tool to do it. Believe me, I'm not savvy on putting things together. I had a back up person to call if I couldn't do it.
