This is 4th or 5th of these that we've had, and we really like them. In fact we have 2 right now and when cooking bacon for the whole family we alternate trays to speed the process. The tray produces very good bacon, though you have to watch the time to avoid over-cooking (if in doubt just check & restart). Cooks 5-6 bacon strips at once. After your first batch you'll know the cooking time - can be anywhere from around 4-6 mins depending on your microwave and the thickness of the bacon. Cover with a paper towel while cooking, but it's still going to be a little messy.Customer Review: Bacon Lover

I had an older version of this tray made by another manufacturer that became cracked due to it's age and I think maybe being put in a very hot dishwasher somewhere along the line, so I looked for a replacement, and found it @ Amazon.com. I'm very pleased with it. And, you can cook almost a pound of bacon on it at one time. The price was very reasonable I felt also. I don't think you'll find this product in any store, because I have been looking for a long time. The Nordic Ware Slanted Microwave Bacon Tray is the best of the best for this hard to find item and Amazon had it in stock at a great price. This is one of those items that did not matter very much to me how quickly it arived. Thus Amazons free shipping was just icing on the cake for me. I love this bacon rack. It is large enough to cook 4-5 large slices of bacon and comes out perfect in the microwave. I have owned these type trays for years and sometimes have trouble finding replacements. That is the reason I ordered 3, one of which was broken when it arrived. I have used a bacon tray like this for years and love it. It gets the bacon very crisp and lean. We actually microwave a whole package of bacon almost done and put it in the refrigerator. When we want to use it, we take out a slice and microwave it a final minute. Best bacon ever! This tray is for our son who wanted a tray like ours.
