I had one ten years ago and got rid of it, thinking it had gotten "old". I missed it so much and had a hard time supporting my neck with any other pillow. It is amazing. My sister borrowed it when she came to visit and loved it so much that I got her one as well. It crunches when you get it positioned but once you are settled, it is settled, too. Sobakawa Buckwheat Pillow - Off-White (20x15") I currently have 2 buckwheat pillows that are probably more than 10 years old. I recently would wake up with a aching neck and decided that the old pillow needed to be replaced. What a difference. No more aching. I would suggest anyone with this problem, try one of these. I probably will be another one to use in our RV.Customer Review: I love it!

When I was 12 I asked for one of these babies for christmas and got it. I dunno why, I was a weird child and prone to succumbing to the guiles of infomercial stars. It took me about a week to get over the crunching of the buckwheat hulls and actually fall asleep regardless. They eventually became white noise to my consciousness and I would drift off. What I liked best in comparison to the pillows I'd grown up with (both flat and fluffy), is that it kept my head nice and cool and I never felt overheated, even on hot nights. And it also fit my head perfectly, wherever I laid, where the traditional pillows did not, and they were often uncomfortable. I now have to take the pillow with me wherever I go, as any other pillow feels unyielding and uncomfortable. I feel like linus and his blanky sometimes. But yeah, I'm buying another one as we speak. I read a couple of other reviews of this product that made me think it might be too noisy. It's not. Unless you continuously move your head around when you are trying to go to sleep you wont hear much, and yes there is noise but really it's no big deal. The nice thing about this pillow is the way it conforms to you whatever position you may be trying to get into and it still supports perfectly. If you are used to using more than one pillow this will do better without the other pillow. It is a bit hard to get yourself propped up if you are trying to read. Overall I love it, I sleep very well now and wake up with no pain in my neck or shoulders. I generally sleep on my side or back.
