Customer Review: Sprayer doesn't work, but you can pull a lot more hose out of the trigger nozzle

The product seems to work OK, but in the middle of the first use, the sprayer stopped working in mid-stream. Nothing happened, nothing changed, it was working fine and then it stopped. I fooled around with it for quite a while and it magically started working again. Then, after a few minutes, it stopped working again and no amount of fooling around changes that. I am very disappointed to have to find another delivery method considering the amount of carpet/upholstery I need to spray.
For those of you who complained that the hose is too short, try tugging on it from the base of the trigger nozzle. I pulled at least another 12 inches out of the nozzle that it appears is stored in there during shipping. It would have been lovely for the packaging to mention that since it's clearly intended by the manufacturer.

The product itself worked very well, but the sprayer malfunctioned right off the bat. First, the tube leading from the bottom of the bottle to the hose fell off and was a hassle to put back on, since it involved emptying the whole 1-1/2 gallon bottle. Then the sprayer quit working all together. It wasn't just a matter of dead batteries, either, since it kept trying to spray but couldn't. We double checked and triple checked to make sure the nozzle was in the right position, also, so it wasn't simply a matter of user error.
I will not get this again. While it was a great idea in theory, it didn't work in practice. I recommend getting an enzyme deodorizer and spraying it the old fashioned way.

It's good for removing stains and controls the dog urine odor well, but the stains still show up brightly under the UV detection light. So whenever you use the UV light, old stains appear just as bright as new stains. It's impossible to tell them apart, even after multiple saturation's, scrubbing and blotting....
I get the same results with oxy-clean & it's much cheaper!
(The battery powered squirt handle is pretty cool though!)

The product itself does an OK job on removing stains. Manufacturer claims it removes the odor from carpets, but I can't verify (ask our dogs if they agree). The spray gun that comes with this product if VERY poor. We bought two of these - one worked for the first half of the jug before dying, the other never worked at all. Ended up buying a pump sprayer at Lowe's and applying it that way.Customer Review: Product works, sprayer doesn't

I like this product a lot. However, the sprayer sometimes dribbles or doesn't work at all. When it finally comes out, it is a strong stream that is not really any better than the stream you get from squeezing a flip top cap. When I lay the sprayer on the floor, it spills out all over. It must be kept upright when not in use. I will stick to the regular spray bottle or flip top cap.
