Customer Review: This is pretty rediculous...

Not only did it take more than a week over the "supposed" arrival date to get to me, but the finish chips VERY easily and it's WHITE underneath (or a light wood color) and it's made of a very soft wood, so it's REALLY easy to accidentally gouge a hole in the face of the frame... I got the 8.5 x 11 to display my college acceptance letter, and I broke 2 fingernails and bruised my thumb before I just grabbed my pocket-knife to bend the keep-the-picture-in-the-frame bracket things... there are a bajillion of them & it hurt. :/
SO I filled the chips in the front with charcoal pencil, which works for now, though you can still see the uneven-ness of it... but it'll do for now... 'til I can find something better. I DO like that you can choose different sizes from the same page, but it's just not really worth it. :/

This is a brand new 16x20 picture/photo frame (meaning a 16'' x 20'' or a 20'' x 16'' print will fit just right). Solid wood 1.5'' wide and 0.75'' thick molding with a 0.25'' deep rabbet is covered with a thin layer of gesso and painted flat black (meaning, not shiny, matte finish). We've added this frame to our inventory answering numerous requests from our buyers for a stylish, nice, yet simple picture frame, good for posters, black-and-white prints, etc - in other words, modern gallery type of frame, simple, yet not cheap. Though the frame indeed looks as simple as it gets, designing this molding actually took a lot of time and effort - proportions had to be chosen really carefully, as a difference of only one sixteenth of an inch is what makes the frame beautiful. "Simple" things are the hardest to create. It seems our designers have done a good job with this frame: its popularity has already grown beyond our highest expectations. Maybe a part of it is an affordable price; designing the frame did cost, but production costs are really low (since molding is plain and simple rectangle), so, once the frame is in production, we can offer it at the most competitive price on the market.Don't hesitate, this frame is a sure fit for anything you have in mind: poster, photograph, artwork, craft project, etc. Available in all possible sizes, it will definitely meet your needs.
