I love it. It's about 3 inches taller than my last excellent scale which went to electronic heaven a couple of weeks ago. The lift up cover can be a pain - I know it's removable, but where oh where do you keep all the extra stuff that might be used again someday? The tare feature really comes in handy for adding all the ingredients of the recipes that I make. As other reviews have said the start up time is a little slow - relatively speaking, but so am I.Customer Review: Dead On!

This is 100% dead on calibrated from the factory! I tested 6 different items and everything was too accurate. But what passed the test was weighing sticks of butter. Those weigh 4 ounces and exactly weigh that, so I am impressed as well as trust it. Very well made, sturdy, and very professional looking in the kitchen. I bought this scale a few months ago, It's WONDERFUL, very easy to use, really accurate, and the numbers are very easy to read (they are big enough).The only thing that I recomend you is to be careful with the Stainless Steel Platform when you take the scale from the box, because the platform is very sharp and I got my hand hurt (dont worry about it, just be careful). It weighs my baby tortoise perfectly fine in grams. I've been using it for over a month now and I like how when you use it the backlight is blue and easy to see. This scale is great for casual use. Not sure if it could handle constant daily use.I dislike the front protector, and how the AC adaptor doesn't come with it. I saw this scale on a website for soap making supplies. It was recommended for it's capacity and because it was accurate and has a faceplate cover. They were charging almost twice as much for the same scale. I have used it to make soap and it is perfect. The price included an AC adapter, which is usually 7 dollars extra. This was a great deal on this product.
