I recently purchased one of the "newer" flour sifters where you squeeze the handle to sift the flour. The only problem is, the flour doesn't sift and in fact it gets stuck in the sifter only causing frustration. So, I went on the search to find the hand crank style like my mom and grandmother use. Thank goodness I found it! This thing works great and I couldn't be happier with it. Sometimes nothing beats tried and true traditional tools. Better yet, I never received the shipment although UPS said they delivered it. Amazon.com was GREAT! I thought they'd give me a hard time, but they couldn't have been more customer service oriented. They shipped a new order overnight for me! Thank you Amazon!
