This peeler is very easy to use and is very sharp--even is shipped with a blade guard. I have arthritis in my hands, and find this has REALLY improved my ability to peel vegies quickly and easily. This peeler is the best. There is zero effort in peeling apples, potatoes and carrots. It comes with a blade cover and i can see why, the blade is sharp. hopefully it'll last. so far I am pleasently surprised with this product.Customer Review: be careful

This is extremely sharp, I took off several layers of skin and I felt was a bump. fortunately, there was no bleeding at all. It must have just taken the outer layers. I felt the blades and they are razor sharp.Customer Review: Swivel peeler
