We read about this device, in a UK newspaper, and, as a 'senior person' with many years of struggling with various makes and designs of peelers, was impressed with the comments. so I imported two from Califonia via
a relative and have found it to be 'simply the best' it self- clears the peelings, is razor sharp and the serrations appear to
grip the item one is peeling. I have been waiting all my adult for just this kitchen tool. Well done the design engineers of Messermeister.

I love the grip on this peeler. The older I get the harder it is for me to hold on to the old fashion metal peeler I have had for years and years. This peeler is comfortable and does a great job, which is very important during canning season and holiday food preparations when there is a lot of peeling to do. Also I look forward to when our garden comes in and I my hands won't be cramped up from using my old peeler.Customer Review: The Number One gift for every new bride's kitchen...

should be this little beauty. Could not believe that it worked exactly as I saw it demonstrated (after I figured out that I needed to remove the piece of tape over the edges) on my favorite cooking show..ATK (a/k/a AmericasTestKitchen.com.) I've been cooking for many, many years. This is the GREATEST peeler I've ever used, peels like cutting butter. I even purchased one for of each of my children. It was highly recommended by Cooks Illustrated. Food TV also said the best peelers had serrated edges, which really makes a difference. I'm sure it will out last my lifetime, but definitely would purchase again.Customer Review: Sharp, light and accurate

This is a great kitchen tool. The lightweight construction is very sturdy and easy to control. The blade is super sharp and takes razor thin peelings off of carrots, potatoes, asparagus, etc. It also follows contours very well, allowing for odd shaped produce. I would recommend this to anyone who cares about having precise, reliable tools in their kitchen.
