I've owned the Manttra 6 Qt stainless cooker for a year and find it reliable, easy to clean and very efficient in doing what pressure cookers should do -- make tender food quickly. I've owned this cooker for a few years. I don't use it very often, mostly because I forget I even have it! When I DO use it, I love it! It thaws and par boils frozen chix in under 30 minutes. It made fantastic pressure cooker baked beans. It's just a nice pan to have when you want dinner fast. I just need to store it in a more visible location!!! Recently, the little plastic part inside the lid handle broke, which allowed the pressure regulator to spin all around, possible toward your hand while you're moving the pan. Searched online and found that replacement parts, besides the gasket, for my model(36000) were hard to find, and the shipping was almost as much as the parts!! Finally found a site, and they're 1/2 the cost of other places. I found [...] to be the best place, in terms of price, for parts for these cookers. I really like my pressure cooker, and would recommend it. I only gave it 4 stars because it didn't come with any trivet or rack. Not a huge deal, but it would come in handy.
