We got this binder and a smaller version which fits index cards as wedding presents in 2009. We've hardly touched the small version, but I use this full size recipe binder every week. It seems to be quite durable. I quickly counted, and I have about 200 sheets of paper in the binder and it is VERY full. I threw out the recipe cards and "magnetic" sheets which came with it and simply use a three hole punch to add recipe printouts. It comes with section dividers which have tabs that say Salads/Appetizers, Meats/Poultry/Fish, Pasta/Grains, Side Dishes, Breads/Cookies, and Desserts. I make a lot of soups, stews and casseroles and few breads and cookies so I wrote in "Stews, Soups, and Chili" on the Side Dishes tab and I turned the Breads and Cookies section into a Casseroles/Quiche section. My strategy is to use the binder for recipe storage. Every week I pull the recipes I'm planning to make from the binder and clip them to the front of the fridge then I file away the recipes from the previous week. A similar system could be easily be created from office supplies, but I think that this binder is cute and the dividers are nice so overall I am happy with this item.
