The MLN-11-01 is a basic night light that uses LED technology for low energy usage. It also has a light sensor, so it does not run during the day/when the lights are on. The nightlight has small blinds or louvers on it so you can direct the light or shade it to your desire. The overall design of the night light lends itself best to d?cor befitting a beach house, country cabin, nursery or a bathroom decorated in such a style.
Pros: the light output is just right - neither too dim, nor too bright. The light from the device is well distributed behind the louvers - you wouldn't guess that two LEDs are the source of the light.
Pros: the night light is relatively compact and inexpensive
Cons: the night light covers a tad more than its half of a power outlet. This means you can share the outlet with a device that has a two-pronged plug, but not a three-pronged plug.
The louvers are a bit stiff. The good news is you shouldn't need to adjust them often.
