Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Maxam KT17 17-Piece 9-Element Surgical-Stainless-Steel Waterless Cookware Set

Customer Review: good stuff
Summary: 5 Stars

I think I am a waterless cookware convert. My mother has an older waterless set she bought from a door-to-door salesperson forever ago, so I thought this could be a quality set. Gotten some use out of the common pieces, and I've been happy with their performance. They heat evenly, even on crappy electric stoves, and they clean up really well. Probably not the set for the gourmet, but for an ex-line cook it's a practical set.

Customer Review: Excellent
Summary: 5 Stars

I've had Classica for 20 years and gave that series to my daughter when she moved out and I bought this Maxam set which is just as wonderful but prettier not just because it is new! I like the long handles since I don't have little children to worry about. I don't cook much anymore but what little I have done in the Maxam has turned out perfect.

Customer Review: Love my new pots and pans
Summary: 5 Stars

This product is everything they say it is. The waterless cooking works great, and it was easy to figure out. I noticed I don't need to cook things quite as long as the instructions recommend, so I guess that is a bonus, too. Cleanup is easy. The cookware is heavy and feels like quality. I think you can't go wrong for the price.

Customer Review: Better that JC Penney
Summary: 5 Stars

The quality is wonderful, the product works as advertised, they are just a little hard to clean, or should I say they are hard to make spottless, the inside of the pans always show some film or residue (like the outline of rice)after I clean them with a srub pad. I can live with it though, better than eating teflon...I guess.

Customer Review: 7 years later...
Summary: 5 Stars

We bought these right before our wedding 7 years ago and they work just as great as they did back then. We love them and are lost when we're somewhere else cooking with other types of cookware. Thank you for such a great product. I think we're going to order a second set after tax refund to have extras if needed.
