We love our Margaritaville machine! It has eliminated two blenders and a snow cone maker in our own kitchen. No telling what more. My husband loves a good 'rita, and I like to drink health shakes in the morning for breakfast. This machine is perfect for our needs. You can also just shave a little ice to make a snowy soft snow cone for the kids or enlist the blender element solely. It's a large machine, so if a blender is a daily necessity in your house and you have plenty of counter space to accomodate it, then this is great for you. Now, this is not going to chop frozen strawberries w/o compromising the integrity, per the saleswoman's instructions at the Williams-Sonoma that we bought it at. By the way, we bought ours there for the same price, but also have the Williams-Sonoma guarantee that covers the Margaritaville for life. If you have a WS in your area, I would suggest this route. I bought the Margaritaville DM2000 a month ago, and LOVE IT!! Very simple to use, with additional options to optimize your drink. My kids love it for the "snow" ice, which they either eat by the spoonful, or add their favorite drink. I Love the way it makes a very smooth margarita, with no chunks of ice. Tastes just like what I get at a restraunt. Still working on the hundreds of drink combinations, and have also purchased an additional plastic pitcher for the kids. Although it is rather large, it fits on my counter and gets daily use. My only complaint is the plastic pieces-I've aready broken the ones on the water resevoir, but it still functions fine without it. I also contacted Margaritaville, after the shot glass brought as I opend the box, but never received a response. However I did find some great recipes! I would definatley reccomend this, and look forward to many happy drinks by the pool this summer!Customer Review: Awsome machine

I just got this machine a few days ago and it is awsome. It takes a little bit of figuring out drink mixtures when you first get started and not using the margaritaville brand mixes, but trust me you'll have a blast doing so. The only recommendation I have is to make sure that you can afford this machine, and I'm not talking about the initial cost. Tequila and mixes are not cheap and I know that with my group of freinds it is very easy to go through a couple hundred bucks worth a night. Also, I bought an additional mixing pitcher and would strongly advise it so you can make more than one flavor at a time. Overall, if you can afford it, this thing is sweet and will make you the hit of every party you take it too.Customer Review: Great Product to kick off blender season!!!

I was very impressed with the timely shipping and the ease of use for this product. It's initial use was with a neighbors get together which went over fantastic. I do wish there were more drink recepies in the manual but I found more on the web. This was very easy to clean and definately was a hit with friends. I would suggest to buy the carrying case as I found out other people want me to bring this blender over so they can have frozen concoctions as well....this investment was worth every penny!!! Also if you want this blender to do more than its intended use then your buying it for the wrong reasons. We just brought one of these home today after having seen one at a friend's house. So far this evening, we've had margaritas, strawberry smoothies, and "frappacinos", which were every bit as good as Starbucks! Just blended some milk, flavored Coffeemate creamer, a little instant coffee, Splenda, and chocolate syrup!
The best part is, we can use Splenda and skim milk and know exactly what we're drinking, instead of possibly drinking a 500 calorie concoction at the mall. Making them was really simply, and cleanup was a breeze! I plan to leave this out on the counter so that we use it often...not just for parties!
