LOVE THIS MACHINE! I've had it about a month and have used it many times. It comes apart fairly easily so cleanup isn't so much of chore that I think twice about using it. The only drawback, personally, is that it's taller than a regular blender and I don't have a cabinet in which to store it! I suppose having it on the counter all the time really isn't a problem in the summer months but I might have to do something come winter. Got a little tired of regular margaritas quickly but found some awesome recipes by googling "battlestar galactica drinks".Customer Review: Great Machine for the Casual Margarita Consumer

We got this model, and I would agree with other reviewers that it is a good all-purpose appliance. We were thinking about getting one of the first models that came out, but when this one came out, it was the right one. It makes very good Margaritas. It is a better value for people who only need a frozen drink maker infrequently. The carrying case allows us to store it out of the way when it isn't being used. We have even used it to make shaved ice for snow cones for the kids--it's also very good at making non-alcoholic slushy drinks.Customer Review: Our most popular beach house appliance

I ordered this based on many reviews through Amazon. It's has been so much fun to have a smooth, well blended margarita while chatting on the deck and watching the sun lower slowly over the ocean.
Morning fruit smoothies and snow cones have been slurped, devoured time and time again. This machine is so easy to use as well as clean. It fits just right on my counter, next to the fridge. This is a must for your beach cottage/residence for all summer gatherings. This is a fun,fast, simple hard working machine.

Margaritaville DM0500 Bahamas 36-Ounce Frozen-Concoction MakerAfter trying several blenders, and a large "margarator" that broke twice, I wanted something that really did the job. Got it with this one. Took no time at all to figure out how much liquid to how much ice. It is great. It really keeps up, even with a large crowd. It is fun to use too. This machine works like a charm and is so easy to use. Every household should have one of these not just for margaritas but other slushie type summer drinks. It is very easy to use and works very fast. Takes very little effort to clean and the only draw back is it is a little large to sit on the counter for everyday. I follow directions by taking the ice out of the freezer about 15 minutes prior to using the machine. I haven't had any problem to date and would recommend this to everyone.
