We purchased the Margaritaville DM0500 Bahamas Frozen Concoction Maker to use at our summer party which had a Mexican theme. It was a big hit! The maker is easy to assemble and simple to use. It comes apart easily and cleans up nicely also. It makes perfect frozen margaritas every time! Our friends loved them! We also used it to make wine slushies and they turned out beautifully as well. The best tip is to let the ice sit for 10 to 15 minutes out of the freezer before you use it. It will be the perfect consistancy. The recipe that came with the maker was very tastey. We had shopped around and were very happy to find the maker on Amazon at a terrific price compared to every retailer we checked. We highly recommend it!Customer Review: The BEST Margarita

This machine creates the best Margarita ever (or other frozen drink)! The blending of the liquids with the perfectly shaved ice is what makes it so great. If you prefer more ice on hotter days, you can just flip the switch to add more. It is easy to operate. This has been a great hit with friends and is perfect for fun showers. It makes a great gift, too! My sister has one. She bought me one, and then a few of us bought one as a special birthday gift for a friend. She said it is her best gift ever. People will rave about your frozen concoctions, and you just may end up being invited more places (if you promise to bring the machine)! All I can say is I LOVE THIS MACHINE! I have owned more than my fair share of blenders looking for smooth frozen drinks...and I have found it. I use the "shave" only option first to make the kids their snowcones/snowballs, then made what ever else I want for the adults. You can make your drinks as thick or thin as you want by adding more/less shaved ice. I use mine twice a day....yogurt and fruit smoothies in the morning and daqueries/margaritas at night. This model is a no frills model, but fits on the counter top for daily use and also cleans up pretty quick and easy.Customer Review: Perfect Magarita Consistency

Made the huge mistake of buying the Margarator first. What a piece of junk. We returned that to the store and we were very hesitant to sink even more money into this, but we really wanted something to make frozen drinks. I am so glad we took the plunge and bought this machine. PERFECT SHAVED ICED CONSISTENCY - JUST LIKE IN THE RESTAURANTS! Very easy to make and very fast. Make sure you follow the recipe ratio in the directions. The recipe calls for 2 to 1 ratio. I was used to following the recipe on the back of most Magarita mixes that are 3 to 1 (Mixer to Alcohol).Customer Review: Husband LOVES it!

My husband loves to entertain guests with special frozen concoctions. Since giving him the Margaritaville Bahamas Frozen Drink maker for Father's Day he hasn't missed a chance to "whip" some refreshment up. He says it's the best thing he has ever used, very simple to operate. The fact that along with the automatic drink proportion controls, it can be used to manually put as much ice in as you would like and since he is somewhat of a control-freak with his cooking/drinks this allows him to make them perfect! His exact words, "This drink maker is so easy, I love it!".
