I bought my MB almost a year ago. I very rarely listen to infomercials and have only purchased from one once before this, many years ago. As soon as I placed the order I felt guilty, what did I need one more possibly "fly-by-night" product for, I already have top of the line kitchen equipment. The truth is it turned out to be one of the best kitchen investments I have made. The first three months I had it I used it every day, and still use it more days than not. The key, as some of the others mentioned, is reading all of the instructions in the beginning of the book before starting. Then try the suggested recipes exactly as written for the first few times. For me sauces, gravies, marinades, dressings, and glazes have become a quick microwave item rather than having to stand over a double boiler or stir constantly at a hot stove. So far I have found it will do everything they say it will and much more! The only limitation is quantity. Clearly it is not practical to expect it to make chicken salad for a family of five in one batch; it all boils down to using common sense. Bought a Magic Bullet on sale at Kohl's last weekend. WOW! I was a bit skeptical about how it would work. As others have said, if it's something advertised on an Infomercial it's probably too good to be true. Not so with this product. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. When we got it home we immediately tried to make a Frozen Margarita. Amazing! Then I made the 6 Second Chicken Salad. I have to admit that it took more than 6 seconds...I pulsed several times then used the shake method and pulsed a few more times...DONE! We went through 3 batches of the chicken salad over the weekend...and there's only just the two of us. It makes a nice size batch. Also made a chocolate shake and a mocha chiller (found the recipe by doing a search on line). I think one of the things I like best about the Magic Bullet is that all of the parts are dishwasher safe! One word of advice...READ THE INSTRUCTION BOOKLET before using it. It tells you the different techniques and those are important. It will keep you from getting unwanted results. It will only take you a few minutes to read the book and it's worth the time. I don't know why people are not giving credit to this product, but everyone uses this product for different reasons. I have used magic bullet for a salsa or avocado dip and it worked just fine but more than that, magic bullet helped me change my lifestyle. I recently got out of college and live by myself, therefore using magic bullet is so easy to use and clean afterwards (which I dont like much), whith MB it takes me just seconds to clean. It also became a really important part of my life since I am having shakes twice a day to replace meals and I never thought of a product that could come in handy just like Magic Bullet does. I put the mix, add ice, water, splenda and I am off to work drinking from the cup. Sometimes I even take it to work. I lost 20 pounds ever since and kept constant because it never seemed that much of a challenge since making these shakes are so easy. I reccomend it, because it works fine over the years and if you're looking for something easy to use like shakes this is it, look no further. The only thing I would change is the loudness. But even that, I dont mind, because I am happy with it.Customer Review: More than worth the money!

I absolutely love my Magic Bullet. It's just like the commercial. I have had mine for over three years. Bought it from the infomercial on installments. Way more than the going price these days. Even at that price it was one of the best buys I have ever made. We used it every day, several times a day and because it is so easy to clean it can be ready for the next person. In the morning we made smoothies for breakfast. I grind my coffee to perfection. I love humus and can add just the ingredients I enjoy. Whiz, whiz, whiz and it's done. Crushed ice. Frozen margaritas. Slushies. I even made lotion with shea butter, cocoa butter, beeswax, and oils. No way I could melt and combine in a blender.
Now wait...the juicer is not worth a nickel, nor the actual blender, but the rest of the set is wonderful. We used the individual cups for all the processes and just left the rest to the side. The juicer just didn't and the blender was not as efficient as the cups.
I am amazed that the blades have continued to work so well after all this time and use. I would certainly buy this again.

I read a couple of reviews that said it costed them $30 + $10 shipping to get a replacement base.
Just yesterday, after months of perfect performance I was giving a raw food demonstration and talking, not paying attention, and the plastic gear broke on my base.
The unit is still under warranty.
I called the company and they are now sending me out a replacement base for $9 shipping. I was relieved, as I thought I'd have to send the whole box of "stuff" back.
I don't use much more than the 2 different blades and the large and small jar. I have never used the blender or juicing attachment, and I used the mugs just a couple of times.
Being a raw foodist, I use it make sauces, dressings, gravies, grind nuts and seeds, etc. The cooked people in my family use it to grind up coffee, whip eggs and make chocolate mousse. So we get quite a bit of use out of it and never had a problem until it broke just yesterday.
I am very happy not only with the product, but with the customer service I received when I experienced a problem.
