I love my magic bullet! I have had mine for a couple of months and have used it many times, which is partly due to the fact that it is easy to clean. It may come with many parts, but only two pieces will get dirty during each use. It is hard to chop something into a coarse or chunky texture, because it is so quick. The book warns you of this. It says you have to get used to it. I have made great milkshakes with the party mugs in far less time than with using a blender. As a matter of fact, I just gave my blender away to a friend a couple of days ago, because I have no use for it anymore. But I will be keeping my Pampered Chef food chopper for when I need something coarsly chopped. I purchased mine from T.V. and got a second Bullet for free. I gave the extra one to my sister, and she called me this evening just to say thanks, even though she had already thanked me. She used it to make a chicken salad and was raving. She likes the way it chops so fine. The onion puree will work perfect for her homemade barbecue sauce. To sum up, it works beautifully. It can't possibly do every job to everyone's preference. Some people buy these things only hoping that it won't work, just so they will have something to complain about.Customer Review: Best Little Blender/Processor Ever!

I just started using my Magic Bullet and absolutely LOVE IT!!! I make smoothies nearly daily, and always struggled with my Oster blender. The Magic Bullet makes smoothies like a dream -- within seconds it was smooth yet thick the way we like it (without having to water it down) and it was delicious. This blender makes less work and much less mess!! I can see where this little gem is going to make my life much easier, and I can see myself actually enjoying food prep. I've wanted one for a while now, and I'm really thrilled with it's performance so far. Can't wait to experiment with other recipes.
I've never written a review before, but I just had to on this one. As for the negative reviews, just read the manual and follow the advice for maximum performance. But it's so easy to use and it's kind of self explanatory. It sounds like some of the reviewers don't really understand how to use it properly.
I agree that many informercial items over-promise and under-deliver, but this is one item that I would highly recommend, especially if you're looking for something that requires little effort and is extremely easy to clean. If I could, I would give it more stars, I really love it!!

A friend recommended The Magic Bullet when she saw that I had brought my blender to the hotel during a trip - I'd never heard of it. I do not like to own a lot of little special-use appliances (for which I have to find room in my cabinets), so I did not buy one right away. I finally did, and found that its size makes it fantastic for travel. It is much less of a hassle than my blender was to transport and hence I am eating more healthfully when away from home. (I'm even seriously considering tossing it my suitcase when I visit my mother in CA next week - and she has a blender. I'm afraid I'm getting a bit spoiled!) Please note that I have used mine only for smoothies, but that is every day, sometimes as many as three times a day. It was a surprise to me how incredibly convienient it is to blend and then just drink out of the container - and it's SO much easier to clean up than a blender. Another pleasant surprise was how efficiently it blends. I use whole Brazil nuts in my morning smoothie in addition to some fresh and frozen fruit, and it blends all of these just fine. (It works best if you add your liquid last.) At this point, I'm seriously thinking about turning my blender out to pasture.Customer Review: Works great, if you read the instructions FIRST

I saw the infomercial for this product and it looked like something very useful. I am limited on kitchen/countertop space and a blender is very bulky and a pain to use. Plus, I like smoothies and coffee drinks. It looked perfect for me. I read online reviews and there was about half negative and half positive. I was confused whether or not I should buy it. My local TV station did a consumer product test on it and they said it was a great product. After thinking about it, and finding the product at my local Walgreens store, I decided to "bite the bullet" and buy the bullet. Haha. I tried about 5 recipes from the booklet (after I read the ENTIRE instruction/recipe book) and I was very impressed with it. I think that the negative reviews are from those people who "do" first and read directions later. This is not a typical blender and should not be operated as one. I used the shake technique to get big pieces down to be mixed up and it worked fine. For all of you who are contemplating buying one, I recommend the purchase. If you are skeptical of purchasing from the manufacturer, then find a local store to buy from. It's easier to return the product that way, but I don't think you'll need to return it.Customer Review: Still ticking

I bought my Magic Bullet about 3 or 4 years ago. I did not expect it to last. My "get one free" Magic Bullet I saved for when my children broke the first one. The "get one free" Magic Bullet is still in the closet waiting for the first one to break... However the first one is still ticking with no signs of breaking in the near future. Just to let you know, we were going through about 3 blenders a year. My sons would drop and break the food containers or somehow manage to break the bottom.
I love the Magic Bullet. I am online now trying to replace my cups. We use it so often, we have worn out the cups. I use my Bullet daily to make weightloss shakes, then I use the screw on lid to take it work. The money I have saved in not buying the single serving weightloss shakes paid for the Bullet already. More important, I know exactly what is in my weightloss shakes. I customize them to meet my own nutritional needs. My sons use it to make fruit shakes (smoothies) and all kinds of drinks. It is better for them than a lot of the junk they usually eat. I buy frozen fruit from the store and they mix it with fruit juice.
I am truly satisfied, even after all these years.
