This brush does exactly what it is intended to do. It's not the kind of brush that will last you for more than one season of heavy grilling, but then again, most won't. At this price, consider it disposable. I've used it over 40 times to really scrape off my grill grates and it's still working. The bristles are getting a little flat in the front, and the rubber handle has split a bit, but the metal "lip" helps get the job done. For now it's still going strong and when it goes out, probably after another 40 grilling sessions, I'll buy another.
Description of Mr. Bar-B-Q Oversized Wood Handle Brush
Serious barbecuers need serious tools, and this 18-inch-long grill cleaning brush fits the bill. An oversized rubber grip covered with little knobs for texture fits medium to large hands. Stainless Steel bristles on the head last through many grill cleanings and rinse out thoroughly. The steel scraper on the top gets off all kinds of baked-on food debris, but is not meant for use on porcelain cooking grids as scratching can occur. A leather loop on the end of the wooden handle makes hanging up the brush a snap. Discard when bristles are worn out.--Ann BieriKitchen and Housewares
