Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Mr. Bar-B-Q Oversized Finger/Rubber Grip Grill Brush Set

Customer Review: Best grill cleaning brush I've ever had
Summary: 5 Stars

Excellent quality, functional, and flexible. Extra long handle lets me reach across the heat without getting burned. The rubber grip was a nice touch, and the replaceable brush heads are unique. This comes with 3 brush heads, and after those are used up you can get them for under $2.00 each. This is a very solid, well-built tool that is built to last. I highly recommend this.

Customer Review: Cleans the grill like a hot knife thru butter...
Summary: 5 Stars

This brush/scraper is the ideal grill cleaning tool for the price. Extremely durable, and the replaceable heads included mean it'll last & last... If you need a grill brush, buy this one.

Customer Review: BBQ Grill Brush
Summary: 5 Stars

Convenient and economical - does a good job. I like being able to change the wire brush instead of buying a whole new grill brush.

Customer Review: Great Tool
Summary: 5 Stars

Does a great job at cleaning the grill. What more needs to be said!

Customer Review: Excellent brush, reasonably priced, with replacement heads
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a simple, reasonably priced grill brush that does exactly what it's supposed to do. It is well-designed and well-made from obviously high quality materials. When the brush wears out or gets caked with gunk, just pop a replacement brush on. It comes with two replacements, each with a full set of brand new screws.

Highly recommended.

Update 8/1/09: I got rid of my grill with cast iron grates and got one with porcelin coated grates. I was warned about the need to use brushes with brass bristles on grills with porcelin coated grates. Porcelin is, essentially, a glass coating, and you don't want to scratch it and cause it to crumble/disintegtate, or you (and your children, family and guests) will be eating bits of glass. Well, after double checking this brush, to be sure I could use it with my porcelin coated grates, I confirmed that it does NOT have brass bristles. They are clearly steel. Accordingly, they cannot safely be used on porcelin coated grill grates. If you have stainless steel grill grates, or uncoated iron grates, you're fine. But it is NOT safe to use these on porcelin coated grates because they have steel bristles, not brass as advertised.
