I gave this a 5-star rating because it is a great value. Here are the benefits of this press:
1) It is all stainless steel, no rubber or plastic parts.
2) I can press garlic without peeling the garlic.
3) It is easy to remove skin of previous clove with knife point, to place another unpeeled garlic in the press.
4) It has slightly larger holes, which makes it easy to use.
5) It is easy to clean in the dishwasher, unlike my previous press.
6) Very little juice comes back from the press on the top. I add the drop or two to the food.
The one thing I would like to see is a heavier construction as the metal flexes slightly. Overall, given the price, you can't beat this press.
