This is our first thermometer ever purchased for a new espresso machine, and we've only had it for less than a month. But we really like it- it's easy to read, and clearly labels different temp. ranges such as 'froth' in a certain range and 'scald' in another to keep you from scalding your milk. We use it for steaming milk and it works great. I like the little clip that secures it to the side of our milk pitcher. Would recommend it.
