Throwing out my plastic bottles and replacing with this. The shape should make it easy to store 3 or 4 in the refrigerator without taking up too much space. Pours well and easy to handle. Only drawback for me is that it has a plastic lid, where I would prefer glass, but the water is not continuously in contact with the lid. Read some other reviews that complained you can't shake it but I haven't tried that. Great for storing water.Customer Review: Good, Small pitcher

I was looking for a pitcher to brew hot tea in directly. This pitcher allows me to poor boiling water directly into it without the glass cracking. I do not know if it is made of Borosilicate glass but I have been using it for a couple of months without issue so I am guessing that it is heat resistant. My only complaint about this pitcher is that the lid drips a lot when the pitcher is full of fluid.Customer Review: a functional pitcher

design-wise, i thought since it was luminarc product it'll be above par but when I got it...mmmm. Functionally, except for occasional spills because i don't place the spout properly, the product is fine. If it's just for household/daily use, then get one. I bought these to hold milk, juice, iced tea, etc. They are a little hard to hold on to when full, and would not be appropriate for small children. The lid is not as tight as I thought it would be, you can easily spill with the top on. Overall they are OK. Amazon had the best price for this item, I checked several places. This is a very nice pitcher. It is sturdy but not too heavy, fits nice in the side shelf of my fridge. But what is the deal with the cheap lid???
I read the reviews and decided to try it anyway. You cannot shake the contents without it leaking, even if you hold the lid down. That part of it is disappointing. Other than that it is great looking and is just what I was looking for.
