I bought two of these fans after reading the good reviews and having to put up
with the lasko 12".
The quality of this fan is at least double that of the Lasko and you can actually reach the controls when the fan is tilted down.
The fan grate is metal which means the webbing is thinner so you get the air instead of it bouncing off of wide plastic webbing.
The assembly is straight forward and just remember the shaft has a throw away clear plastic sleeve on it and the shaft nut is a lefty tighty, righty loosy.
As mentioned on a previous review, the fan speed is substantial, and there is very little difference between top and middle speed and the low speed is not that low.
The fan also has minimal height adjustment, so no pointing it at the ceiling.
The fan is called ATLANTIC BREEZE, and it has a three prong plug.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I ordered the fan on the 6th and got it on the 8th; WOW!!
