I usually read online reviews before buying a product. I even pulled up old road tests for the 35-year-old motorcycle I recently purchased on eBay.
So I was a little concerned when, seconds after purchasing this product, I saw negative/mixed mentions here on Amazon.
The thin plastic operating lever does appear weak. But it works. The rate and intensity of water flow can be finely controlled. If you press gently, it doesn't come flying out like a fire hose. It operates quite well.
Also, you can buy spare parts for it if you do something stupid and break it.
I don't think there's a magical way to get a single CO2 canister to make 2 liters of water fizzy. You will need to charge it with 2. The laws of physics apparently still work as expected in our universe.
It does take time for the carbon dioxide to permeate through the water. So if you're one of those morbidly obese Americans who expect everything to work perfectly and instantly and cost only 99 cents - then go to the corner store and buy a bottle of Canada Dry or Schweppes for a buck (or two) and haul it back home.
It will be instantly fizzy and goes well with an entire box of Malomars at one sitting.
I like that the bottle is stainless steel: non-corrosive and all. I like the fizzy water that comes out of it.
Between this and a 5-stage reverse osmosis water filtration system, there will be no more hauling of plastic water jugs from store to apartment.
The best thing about this product is that its cool and makes people happy when they see it doing its thing.
