Buyer Beware: very cheaply made!
I bought these because I wanted a set of C-H-E-A-P coasters that included a coaster holder. For some odd reason it seems that not too many coaster sets (that are inexpensive, anyways) include a coaster holder for coaster storage. Upon opening the plastic seal around these, and simply putting trying one of these out with a normal glass full of orange juice, I noticed that there was some lob-sided rocking occurring whenever I would put my glass on the coaster. This bothered me right away, because there aren't too many ways to mess up a coaster other than for it to not absorb well and for it to not stand sturdily on a flat surface. Not rocket science, right?! So like I said, this bothered me right away, so I picked up the coaster and physically inspected it, and I noticed that it was making a faint crackling noise when I would LIGHTLY flex the wood. Well, after ascending very carefully in pressure, THE THING SNAPPED RIGHT IN HALF! I don't mean 49/51, the coaster literally split into two equal parts. So yeah, that was the first coaster I tried out. I then checked all 5 remaining coasters, and one more broke the same way as the first. So yeah, I got 4 out of 6 decent coasters...
I'm still giving this a 4-star because, although a third of these coasters broke, I'm still sitting pretty with 4 coasters that appear to be in fine shape, and they are EXACTLY the kind of natural wood look I was looking for in a coaster. Plus the added coaster holder is a big plus for me, and it is in 100% coaster-holding order with zero defects.
Previous reviewers are complaining that these things don't absorb water well. Ya think? They're made out of bamboo, not soapstone. If your glasses are "sweating" at an alarming rate, either crank up your air conditioning a bit, or get some soapstones. Why would you get a wood coaster when you need high absorption? That's on the same page as Sarah Silverman's recent statement on Conan: "If you get out of the shower, and after simple soap and water was used, and your [feminine parts] STILL smell like $%#!, don't spray perfume on it that's crazy. What you need is a DOCTOR." Comedy mold, uh, I mean gold. :D

We were looking for a coaster set to set out when entertaining & decided to try this one & have gotten more compliments than ever! The style keeps them trendy & they are a good weight that they don't slip or spin while in use.
They are wide enough to be comfortable with almost any glass & a wet paper towel can clean them off easily so that after each event we can clean them to look new again.
The reason for only four stars is that there isn't an upper lip around the outside edge to help catch extra sweat from the glass. The inside ridges do help some, so we haven't experianced any major problems yet. I usually go through after the event & quick dry off any water spots I see & I can say that these coasters do greatly help prevent water marks & so far, anything that's left behind is too little to stay permanent.

These coasters are functional and attractive enough.
The good: Glasses wont stick to these coasters. The circular grooves help break the water tension and prevent sticking.
I like how they look, and the holder is nice.
The less good: The finish on them is pretty rough. It appears as if they didn't do any sanding after the grooves/rings were cut, so they have a pretty rough/cheap looking finish
It would be nice if there was some sort of felt on the bottom of the coasters to ensure they wont scratch furniture. Not that I've had any problems yet, it would just be a nice extra touch.

I purchased these coasters as a gift for a friend who is a fan of bamboo. I have not used them. They look nice, bit I was a bit disappointed. They have a softer, lighter and classier look in the picture than the actual coasters that I received. I still think he will be happy with them though.
