Customer Review: Any bad reviewers are insane...

Unless you received a defective unit, there is NO way anyone could give this any rating short of 5 stars. Ive owned dozens of booklights by several manufacturers and NOTHING compares to this product. Ive had mine for over 2 years and its still going perfectly.
It's also sick that even though I read with it an average of an hour a night, Ive only had to replace the batteries 3 times. My spouse sleeps peacefully while I use this booklight, was not the case with other booklights that shine on page.
Don't be deterred by reviewers that say it isn't bright enough. If this light isn't bright enough for your eyes, then you have no business reading in the dark.
The only downside I can come up with is that the clear area is somewhat easy to scratch. My unit has many hairline scratches that you can see during the day, but are practically invisible when at use at night.
Buy it, you won't be dissappointed.

This is the single best thing for someone who likes to read in bed. I can be in the dark and read my book easily with the light wedge. It's even better in hotel rooms when the light switches aren't by the bed...... I'm going to share a room with a friend soon and I know I can read as long as I want to and not disturb her. And the wedge is powerful enough to light a room like you could with a flashlight... so I can use it to light the way to the bathroom in a strange hotel room. I've ordered several paperback sized ones for Christmas gifts, can't wait to see what my friends think of them.
One thing... I wish I had been more careful with my LightWedge when I got it..... the surface scratches easily and mine has lots of scratches now. I would have been more careful.... but the scratches don't detract from the usefulnes of the wedge. All in all this is a great product!!

Honestly...I just love this book light! It looks cool, it's lightweight and now I can finally read in bed without disrupting my fiance since I have insomnia and reading until the wee hours of the morning is not unusual for me. Yes the plastic scratches easily and leaves fingerprints, but this in no way would give me cause to give it a lower rating. I found the first light to be too bright actually, so the lower setting is perfect for me. Some of the complaints from other reviews are petty...I can be pessimistic at times, but some of the complaints were ridiculous! If you read a lot in bed and if you have bed partners who don't stay up late, if you don't want to disrupt others around you, then this is perfect! I would find this a better solution to using on an airplane than the overhead lights as well. And this light serves as a great bookmark! Nuff said...buy it!Customer Review: Best book light

I've used a couple of other types of book lights before purchasing the LightWedge & I definitely think this is the best option out there. For once reading in the dark doesn't feel like a strain on my eyes since it evenly lights up the whole page. And unlike the other lights, this one gives a nice clear white light that illuminates the whole page. One other advantage is that other book lights seem to zap a lot of battery power quickly, with this one I am still enjoying full light strength with many hours of reading. I bought the light to use when traveling, but I'm already enjoying it at home.Customer Review: Lightwedge is Great!

I have had and used the lightwedge for about 5 years now and I love it.Being a bibliophile that enjoys reading in bed at night without disturbing my partner this is the perfect Booklight. I have tried every book light on the market and the Lightwedge is far superior to all others.My only regret is I didn't have one of these when I was a kid trying to read at night with a flashlight.The Lightwedge illuminates the entire page at once,not like other lights that have bright and dim spots.Plus ...when you find yourself getting sleepy just close the book on it and it makes the perfect bookmark.
