The small Light Wedge is not wide enough for a paperback book and the large lightwedge is not wide enought for large paperback books. An example of a large paperback book is "Windows XP Inside OUT 2nd Edition.
Thw wedges with the plastic cap along the outside edge of the page is tall enough to go from the top to the botton of the page but is 1 to 1 1/2 inches to narrow to go from the outside to the inside bound edge. This makes to wedge not very reading friendly. Large book 9 1/4 inches high and 7 1/4 inches wide. Large Wedge 8 3/4 inches high and 5 1/4 inches wide. The small wedge is perportionally about the same to small paperback book.

I received my order today and I am going to return it right away. Here are my reasons:
- The product received does not have the one-touch 2 brightness levels control. It comes with a different style of sliding on/off switch.
- The acrylic screen contains scratch marks and smudges. Totally didn't expect from a brand new sealed package.
- The light does not cover the page evenly. One can almost see two rays of light across the page. The brightness is way too low for reading in the dark.
That is why I am returning it immediately.

I was very disappointed in this product. There is only one functioning light setting (not two), the light is dim, and I notice waves across the page. The light is usable, but I was expecting something great. If I had bought it in a store, I would have returned it. Looking at the mixed reviews for the LightWedge, and based on my own experience, I would recommend that you buy the LightWedge where you feel comfortable returning it if it doesn't meet your expectations.Customer Review: Good idea. Problem 1: Scratched in ten minutes flat, while sitting inside a book. It was scratched by paper.
Problem 2: LEDs are not diffuse enough. You get a neat interferometry pattern on your page. (You did that experiment in high school, didn't you?)
Problem 3: Awkward to flip pages.
I liked the idea. I just wish it was designed by somebody who actually used it.
