I bought 8 of these to use in restoring a juke box. I felt this socket would mount if I made a small bracket for each. But Amazon sent the wrong socket. It is very much like this one, but for lamps. As luck would have it, I found I can bend the mounting bracket on the ones sent and mount them directly without making any bracket. Good break as returns are a pain! Anyway, the sockets are made very well and (after a day of searching on line for the perfect socket) I found both the socket I ordered as well as the one shipped at the local hardware store. Those are plastic, where as the one here is ceramic and I think this is better, not sure on that, but they sure do look better in an old Juke box.
