I am very pleased with the tagine. It works well to slow cook food and makes for an excellent, authentic presentation. My dinner guests have been delighted. I seasoned the clay tagine exactly as instructed, I use a diffuser and so far have had no problem whatsoever. The only drawback is that it is too small to prepare a dinner for more than 6-7. But the craftmanship and food preparation are superb.

Le Souk Ceramique specializes in making authentic, artisanal hand-painted ceramic tableware. All of our pieces are food safe and truly painted entirely free-hand. We started our studio in Tunisia in 1997 and maintain a positive, safe, progressive workplace. We paint and stock 8 to 10 different designs in about 30 different shapes, usually introducing one or two new designs each year.
