Customer Review: Cool Orange Lava Lamp but I needed two to get it right

I just love the color Orange and this one at 14.5" seemed to be just what I wanted on my computer table in the living room. This one does have a 'cloudy' Orange look, but so did the picture, so I knew what I was getting here, no surprises. I had to send my first one back, because it did not do the 'Lava' thing, you know what I mean here. It was just an Orange lamp without any movement from whatever they put inside of them that goes up and down as it heats and cools. They recommend to let it warm up for 4-6 hours and I did to no avail, then I shook it also, but the bubbles just sank and never did anything. I returned it for a replacement and all went fine with the new one, thank god Amazon has the best return policy out here in the Internet, the ease of returns and exact replacements free of charge, if that is what you want, like I did. The metal base seems a little thinner than I remember my old one from 20 years ago, but I guess it really does not matter and maybe the larger ones have thicker metal? The thickness of the metal used in the base and top, not the overall size of the those items.
