The fan was delivered in a box that looks like it was pulled directly off some store shelf, slapped with a mailing label and tossed in the mail - literally - with no thought taken as to packaging so it didn't surprise me when the fan arrived with two large cracks in the face plate and the bottom pegs snapped off. Amazon was very smooth with the return so I risked having another shipped out. Second fan arrived in much better condition, same bare bones packaging though, except for a tiny crack in the face plate. Not a big deal for a cheap little fan, so I kept the second, just be aware you may face the same problem. I've had the fan for about two weeks now and so far no complaints with it's operation.Customer Review: This fan is just awesome!

This fan is a good size for smaller or tight areas and moves plenty of air for an average sized space. I had it moving air in the upstairs of a Houston Texas home. It did the job well until one day it would not start up. The fan was kept clean and was not abused, it just died. The fan was purchased in 2007 at Lowes and it went out in 2009. From this quality manufacturer, by the feel and look of this Lasko Model 3733 fan I would expect more than 2 years from this product. Still looks good though.Customer Review: Adequate box fan

This has proven to be an adequate replacement for our previous fan which we had for at least 8 years. We had no problems setting it up and have been using it for a little over a month. We use it at the top of the stairs to help even out the temperature between the first and second floors in our house. It also provides a little white noise for the kids at night. I actually wish it was just a little louder than it is. Customer Review: Works as expected!

Nothing spectacular, simple, clean lines. Fan is pretty quiet compared to some I have had, most noticeably there is a lack of any vibration.
