Customer Review: Sometimes Less Is More

If you are looking at this, you probably had the chance to browse other peelers from Kyocera. Though you can go hog wild, sometimes "Less Is More". I've used this peeler on carrots and potatos. Wow! This is a great peeler. You reall don't need a lot more than this for most peeling you will do.
However, I do recommend one thing my wife did do. She created a little flannel fabric holder for the peeler. Insert the backing paperboard card from the package and you have a prefect holder for the peeler. It keeps it safe from all those other items in the utensil drawer. I think it is a GREAT idea and suggest you do something like that to help keep it sharp over the long haul.
I do suggest one item you might want to consider in addition to this. A pair of "Klutz Gloves". You can purchase gloves to help keep your hands safe if you are dealing with sharp implements. And if you peel more than one or two items, having some cut resistant gloves would be a wise item to have.
Anyway, I can highly recommend this peeler. Sure you can buy fancier peelers. But this one gets the job done at a very reasonable price.
