Customer Review: VERY VERY SHARP, GREAT KNIFE

I have read every review of all the Kyocera knives and have to admit they weren't wrong. So far I have been lucky not to drop my knives. I have a paring knife and a slicing knife with a vegetable slicing knife on order.
I have tried to follow all the rules associated with the use of these knives. I have used the 5-1/7" slicing knife to cut tomatoes, sausage, and potatoes with no problems at all. The blade is so sharp it cuts a raw potato like nothing I have ever cut with before. The knife is so sharp it almost drops through the potato without any pressure assist, it is amazing.
The slicer I have goes through potatoes like warm butter. Sorry I got carried away a little bit.
Now for the prices, these knives are expensive compared to anything else I have seen but I have been told the lesser expensive ceramic knives do not have the edge the Kyocera knives have. So the old adage that , "you get what you pay for" must be correct in this situation.
I, as you may have noticed, am very excited to use my new knives and other Kyocera kitchen tools. I highly recommend these knives and other kitchen tools for any house chef who wants to ease his burden on slicing and dicing.
