My old pepper grinder was giving me huge chunks of cracked pepper. After reading other reviews I thought I would make this my first ceramic grinder, and I'm very happy I did. The pepper comes out in a nice spray and at a good table grade medium grind. The top screws on securely and the glass container has a frosted finish that provides grip when grinding. This mill works like a charm at a lot cheaper price than any other ceramic mill that I was able to find. I am using it with some Celtic sea salt that seemed to be a lot more moist than other sea salt that I had used and my old mill would not grind it. Grinds any and all kinds of salt into a very fine grain... simply amazing to watch the before and after.
The only way you won't love this product is if you don't like grained salt.
