Pro's: The ease of use is amazing. I love the fact that it fits in the drawer and just needs to be pulled out of the draw to use. It is extremely sharp and cuts perfectly. In the short time I've had this item I've used it more time than my big mandolin slicer.
Con's: Only one - I wish I could get a 1/4 inch cut. The 4 adjustments go from paper thin to approximately a little less than 1/8 inch.

I bought this little mandoline slicer to replace the very same one I've had for a few years. I was too vigorous with it and snapped the handle from the body. I love this unit and the fact that it's adjustable. I have a much larger mandoline, but this one is great for small jobs and it's adjustability is a wonderful feature. I had purchased a bigger mandoline some kind of professional one and I never used it because it was too big and diffucult to use quickly. But this one is no set up; pull out of the draw and just start slicing those onions. Clean up is a breeze too. Quick, simple, easy. I love this slicer. It doesn't do as much as my expensive mandolin, but it is so much faster and easier to use. I don't use the protective food holder that comes with it. The one that came with my other mandolin works better. I like how easy it is to clean.Customer Review: Excellent...but

This is a great slicer and a great price. You also have to be VERY careful. Actually, my husband is using it since he is less of a klutz....
The little protective holder doesn't work too well for certain things. Glad we got it, but be careful.
