Bought this adapter to power my Koolatron fridge when travelling. It works well and is much lighter than my original one (due to the fact that it is solid state based). The only drawback is that the outlet plug is a car lighter socket and the Koolatron has a 2-pronged DC plug so I had to get an extension cord to make it work. Luckily I had a spare. I have used this adapter for a couple times now. It works as designed and described. I use it to power a Koolatron cooler. Not much else to say at this point. Time will tell as to the quality, but I don't foresee any issues. One thing, do not get this item wet, even heavy dew will render it useless. When/If using outside or overnight outside, i suggest covering with a ziplock type bag to keep the moisture out.
