I love these. I happened across them at a Ross store, and I came to Amazon to buy more. I had previously been using Snapware, which are harder to see through, harder to close, and not BPA-free (as far as I can tell). Also, these have two hinges to snap closed, whereas the Snapware have 4.
I use these for my 4-year-old to get his own snacks, and just the feel of them in the hand is much more ergonomic and high-quality. The best part is the size, which is much more reasonable for children. The 200ml size (.8 cup?) is the best for a kid-size handful of food, whether it's nuts, cheese cubes, berries, pretzels. He tends to not drop these as much. Plus they're BPA-free.
I have noticed that water gets into the seal when I'm washing it, but the blue seal comes completely out easily, so that's no problem. I haven't tried to use them with liquids, other than yogurt that just goes from the fridge to the table, but I'll try it out. It seems to me like they won't leak, but I wouldn't toss them into a bag to just rattle around, either. They are a very quality item, and I'm so pleased with them.
