I just received this pan this week & have already used it at least 3 times. It arrived in perfect shape delivered by the US Post Office, too!
My only complaints are: (1) I wish it fit the small burner better. My cooktop is a cast iron burner type so there's a risk of warping since the burner is larger but I will make it a point to cook on a temperature lower than medium. So it would probably be perfect on gas cooktops. (2) It's described as 1-1/2 qt. It only holds 1 qt. (4 cups) filled almost to the top where the lid/frypan sits inside the rim. I would never put that much in this pan. For that reason, maybe I should give 4 stars instead of 5 but I will leave it at 5.
If the manufacturer would make a true 1-1/2 qt. wider than this pot, I would buy it for sure even if fitted with a conventional style lid. This 1-qt. will be mostly used for warming leftovers/small portions of soups as it's only for my DH & me, and we have completely quit using the microwave because of questions concerning nuking foods.
P.S. I can't remember or find where I read a warning NOT to use cooking sprays on enamel cast iron. If anyone knows if this is true it would be nice to hear from you. I've read some reviews stating the enamel popped off (not this particular pot or brand but others) after only a few uses of their cookware. Were they using cooking sprays and/or putting them in the dishwasher? I do neither of those 2 things.
