This is a very nice gate for those hard to fit uneven walls. I needed a nice looking gate for the top of a staircase that had uneven trim and a post that was uneven as well. This was very easy to adjust and install, sturdy too. It is a very simple nice looking gate. The only thing that I did not like was the little plugs that you have to put in to stop the gate from going the other direction. They are very tiny and fall out several times while trying to install the bottom lock. They need to make this part of the mold.Customer Review: Wonderful Product

I bought this gate over a year ago to keep the dog and our son out of the basement and from falling down the stairs. This is a very sturdy gate. It is great because you can see who is coming up the stairs but strong enough to hold back a 70 pound jumping golden retriever. As in other comments, the directions are difficult but if you follow everyone's advice, it was easy to install. Our gate also had to be set at an angle due to how our walls are, it was no problem for this gate. Love it! Definitely worth the money.Customer Review: Looks So Beautiful!

Some of the comments about this being difficult to assemble are true! Fortunately I have a handy husband. He did do some jerry-rigging to make it extra strong.
BUT, I have to say, this blends perfectly with our wrought iron stairwell, and has been extremely effective for our newly mobile 1-year-old.
I am very happy with this product and would totally recommend.

We had Kidco gates in the past and when we moved we were not able to use the pressure mounted ones. We are very happy with the construction of the gate and it was also easy to install (we also bought the separate installation kit). The quality of these Kidco gates are top notch. Advertised as a child gate, but it is perfect to separate the adult dogs from the cat food. The cats can go through it and under it, the dogs cannot.
